Painting a semi realistic artwork

When I work on semi realistics, I only try to get near to reality. When the viewer get’s the idea of what I meant to paint it is enough for me. Of course the paintings have a realistic quality, but they are exaggerated or simplified.

It could also be an illusion.

Allthough my paintings are an interpretation of reality, they are not to be interpretated as some of my semi abstract or semi figurative paintings could be. Maybe it is realism with an unrealistic flare
